Welcome to Grow Camp 2026!
“Planting the Seed”
New Thomson United Methodist Church
White Oak Campground
Dear Grow Camp Counselors, Volunteers, and Campers,
With joyful hearts and great excitement, New Thomson United Methodist Church welcomes our Grow Camp counselors, our faithful volunteers, and our 44 bright, energetic, and wonderful campers to our 3rd Grow Camp at White Oak Campground!
We are grateful that God has brought us together for another amazing week of fun, friendship, faith, learning, laughter, swimming, worship, games, and growth. This week is more than camp. It is a sacred opportunity to plant seeds of hope, courage, kindness, confidence, and faith in the lives of our children.
To our counselors, thank you for leading with patience, joy, and love. Your presence helps create a safe and meaningful camp experience for every child.
To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time, energy, gifts, and servant hearts. Whether you are helping with meals, transportation, registration, snacks, activities, safety, setup, cleanup, or simply offering encouragement, your work matters. Every act of service helps make this camp possible.
To our campers, we are so glad you are here! You are bright, important, loved, and full of possibility. This week is for you. We want you to have fun, make new friends, try new things, learn about God’s love, and know that you belong.
As we begin this 3rd Grow Camp, we celebrate the prayers, partnerships, families, churches, and community support that helped make this week possible. New Thomson UMC is honored to be part of a ministry that serves children and families in Thomson and McDuffie County with love, dignity, and joy.
Let’s have a wonderful week together as we keep planting the seed!
With excitement and gratitude,
Pastor Sarge and New Thomson United Methodist Church
