“If the Highest Place I Reach Is at Your Feet, Then I’ve Done It All”

These words are so much more than just lyrics to a song. It should be the desire of our heart.

Luke 10:42 KJV
but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Mary could have been like Martha and stayed too busy cooking, cleaning, and focusing on the “to do list” but instead she spent her time at the feet of Jesus!

The world teaches us success is gain. Success is often measured by position, influence, wealth, recognition, or achievement. But the Kingdom of God measures greatness so much differently.

Luke 9:25
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?

The highest place we can ever reach is at the feet of Jesus! When we sit at the feet of Jesus we surrender it all to HIM. We desire HIS presence more than any promotion. We will obey as we lead. We will worship instead of complaining. Discipleship begins at HIS feet.

Psalms 27:4
One thing I have asked of the Lord, and that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord And to meditate in His temple.
