The word for today my friends.
1. Jesus Christ was revealed as God's Son by shedding his blood on the cross-not by water only, but by water and blood.
2. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with His testimony.
3. So we have these three witnesses-the Spirit, the water, and the blood and all three agree.
4. Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God.
5. And God has testifeid about His Son.
6. All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that His testimony is true.
7. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar becuase they don't believe what God has testified about His Son.

The word for today my friends.
1. Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets.
2. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place.
3. Until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts.
4. Above all, your must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet's own understanding, or human initiative.
5. No, these prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.

1. All praise to God, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2. It is by His great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
3. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance-an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you.
4. Pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.
5. And through your faith, God is protecting you by His power until you recieve this salvation.
6. Which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

1. Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters.
2. You must be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
3. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth in your lives.
4. And humbly accept the Word God has planted in your hearts.
5. For it has the power to save your souls.
6. But don't just listen to God's Word. You must do what it says.

1. So do not throw away this confident trust in the LORD.
2. Remember the great reward it brings you.
3. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will.
4. Then you will recieve all that He has promise.
5. For in a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.
6. And My righteous ones will live by faith.
7. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.
8. But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.
9 We are the faithful ones, whose soul will be saved.

1. Regarding the angels, He says, He sends the angels like His winds, His servants like flames of fire.
2. God never said to any of the angels, Sit in the place of honor at My right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.
3. Therefore, angels are only servants-spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.

2. Because I keep hearing about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God's people.
3. I am praying the you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.
4. Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the heart's of God's people.

1. This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ.
2. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live goldly lives.
3. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God-who does not lie- promised them before the world began.
4. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior give you grace and peace.

1. You have been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to recieve the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
2. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.
3. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
4. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work
