4. The king said to him, May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you.
5. A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den.
6. Very early the next morning, the king hurried out to the lions' den. When he got there, he called out in anguish, Daniel, servant of the living God! Was you God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue form the lions?
7. Daniel answered, Long live the King! My God sent His angels to shut the lion's mouths so that they would not hurt me.
8. For I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.

The word for today my friends.
1. God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom.
2. God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams.
3. The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service.
4. Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom.
Daniel 1: 17 God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams. 19 The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service. 20 Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom.
