We say goodbye on Saturday, August 15th at 2:00 p.m. to our dear friend Evelyn Daviss. She has been a beloved part of Unity for 93 precious years. We will miss her greatly!

Summer Showers UPDATE! We provided ELEVEN men and women with refreshing showers, fresh clothes, and laundry kits!!!
We are very grateful to:

Donna Clark of Unity UMC, her son Spencer, and Pastor Andreas from the Hispanic SDA Church
for manning the shower trailer today

for providing the lunch bags.

Tomorrow we will sadly say our final farewells to Mrs. Carolyn Hill. She and her husband Bill were long-time beloved members of Unity UMC's congregation.

Celebrate the life of Carolyn Hill and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

Update from the Summer Shower Trailer ministry food team!!!
***We have a list of items for which we are seeking donations.***
We will be providing our unhoused guests with a brown bag breakfast or lunch on shower days. Our target date to start is May 20th.
Drop off locations for donations located at Unity UMC - 608 National Hwy or West End UMC - 600 Lexington Ave. Receptacles have been provided at the secondary entrances.

Additional note: we are also collecting individual flavor packs for bottled water. With a preference for those that contain electrolytes or vitamins.
