Family of the Month: Lane & Dana Chiasson
Knights of Columbus Council 13397 is proud to recognize Lane and Dana Chiasson as our September Family of the Month.
For more than 44 years, Lane and Dana have called St. Genevieve Parish home. Now retired, they describe their most important roles as grandparents and parishioners. Throughout their years at St. Genevieve, they have served the parish through many different ministries. Today, they remain active with church décor, the church cleaning crew, the St. Joseph Altar Society, and the Parish Inventory Committee.
For Lane and Dana, St. Genevieve is much more than the church they attend.
“St. Genevieve Parish IS our family.”
They began their life here as a young family more than four decades ago. Over the years, they formed friendships with generations of parishioners and watched the parish grow. Today, they find great joy in seeing younger families become part of the St. Genevieve community.
Their connection to the parish became especially meaningful following the loss of their youngest daughter. During one of the most difficult periods of their lives, their St. Genevieve family surrounded them with prayer, love, and support.
Lane and Dana describe St. Genevieve as a caring, loving, prayerful, and giving community. They remain deeply grateful for the parish family that has walked beside them throughout their lives.
When they are not serving the parish, Lane and Dana treasure time with their grandchildren.
Please join Knights of Columbus Council 13397 in congratulating Lane and Dana Chiasson, our September Family of the Month. We thank them for their many years of faithful service and for showing what it means to make faith, family, and parish community a part of everyday life.
