This month's Full Moon, September 27, 2015, will be a total lunar eclipse of a rare full blood moon, the first to occur in 30 years.
Visible eclipse begins here in Casper, Wy. at 1907 (7:07 pm) with maximum eclipse at 2047 (8:47 pm).

This is not only a small business page, but it is also a teaching and learning page.
Here, you will not learn the mass-reproduced prose, spells, or flawed information that is commonly found on internet searches.
Here, you will be provided with Notes and Discussions on historic, true, and practical knowledge of Witchcraft, it's theories, principles, ethics, history, and how to incorporate all of this into your daily lives.

A WARNING -
Though we are both Ordained Pagan Ministers, we are not your run of the mill, flowery, sprigs and rainbows new-age witches.
We are Nocturnal Witches of the Pagan Path and active Practitioners of Low and High Magick Witchcraft.
We are High Votaries of our Patron Goddess, Hecate Trimene, who does not suffer ignorance. It is our goal to illuminate others as well as ourselves, as best we can.
We will seek always to be kind and helpful, but sometimes you just have to be blunt to get a point across.
We will always speak the truth and will not mince words.

We find no need in pretending we are perfect, only that we strive toward that goal and hopefully, help others along the way.
So, if I wish to cuss, I will. Like a sailor, most likely. And you may, as well.
Here, you may be yourself. You may ask questions, learn answers, seek the mysteries, make friends, share your art and skills and views, possibly even make some enemies..., or you may simply share your good energy and commune with others of a like mind.

We want this to become an active page for all those of various Paths who are desirous of becoming REAL Practitioners, REAL Witches with REAL Power.

If you are a new-age, sparkly, blossom-toting poser witch who merely speaks at herself and her candles wondering why her Magick isn't working, or simply too oblivious to recognize that it isn't working, then this is not the place for you unless you want to join the ranks of the true Witches and learn all that is necessary to be a prudent, intelligent, well-spoken, well-written, learned, dignified, and practical Witch.
Stay and learn if you honestly wish to become worthy of the faith that so many throughout history have suffered for; have hidden, lied, been persecuted, tortured, and burnt alive for.
Stop blowing sunshine if you want to honor the Witches of history that, despite all they suffered, still managed to get the faith passed on, all the way down the line to us today.

This is a subject very near to our hearts, being Nocturnal Witches. We always have such a hard time understanding how people can practice within only one sphere.
We need both night and day to fully balance our practice and knowledge. Do not ignore one for the other.

Lament Of The Nocturnal Realm

Midnight has a secret; a dusky, faded gloom.
Nyx her Murky Mistress, keeping Day and Night attuned.
Shadows deepen hourly in the web of Hypnos' loom,
Budding to full blossom; blooming a rose of Acheron's wound.
Bleeding pitch, ruling rampant below the Gods, our mortal eyes cannot see.
We are not born to pierce the dark of Night, else Gods we would all be.

Our eyes share no Magick, our forms are but human; weak and frail,
We needs must labor at the toil of sleep as the Oneiroi prevail.
Bone and Ivory gates thrown wide, those sable-winged dreams descend,
Twisting, warping, Ivory-lied, and Prophecy Horn doth bend.

Tucked away in bowers aslumber; the silent, beauteous Night we have spurned,
Lax in mock safety, psyche awander, as tricks 'pon roaming minds are burned.
The spawn of Sleep tiptoe with thee, sent to weave you a wondrous tale,
Lies of fantasy, smiles of wonder, subconscious beyond the veil.
Truth whispered-deadly drags a sleeper under, weeping tears of mortals learned,
While still more souls scream, and ripped asunder, in Hades' fires are churned.

The most fortunate of man reposed, long days of life now done,
Slip away, their eyes still closed, to verdant fields of Elysium won.
Such great fortune greets but blessed few, summoned by those sisters Fate,
For many hearts good and kind eschew, and shan't bypass Hell's black gate.

No wishes, no pleas, not time itself...may alter the course of the Gods,
Though weeping we beg, and grieving we curse; with finality forever at odds.
Birth, trials in life before death; this is the lot of all mortal kind,
Grasping at straws, we hope; seek the comforts of a further-enlightened mind.
Hold to your rung of the Spiral...haul thyself up, pray you may yet get another go,
Keep your mind open, eyes to the darkness, for wisdoms of the world we may long to know.

Or continue to hide inside, avoid the darkness, illusory safe behind your door,
While those eternal and those black-winged; hidden presences in lore,
Share their knowledge with shy seekers of the Night, and to them such secrets unfold,
As to make the shadows a Sacred Realm of Wonders, bountiful and beautiful to behold.

Here is another of my Favorite 'Witchy' pictures by Luis Royo.
When working with the Norse Runes and Runic Energies, I often use this picture as a visual representation of the Ancient Ones.
It works wonderfully in that capacity, I think, due to it's slightly foggy look (representing the surreal and/or ethereal), obscured faces (representing no known description of the Ancient Ones and the ability of each person to form their own mental image), and the hooded cloaks (representing an imaginative ideal of anonymous beings and mystical Rites).
To me, it just helps set the mood, elevating the subconscious mind over the logical mind.

Since I associate this picture with the Ancient Ones, I often use the Runic Song of Breath to Charge the Runes I'm working on at the time.

Runic Song of Breath -

"Beseeching the breath of the Ancient Ones;
Their Life-Giving breath, Their breath of Old Age, Their breath of Waters, Their breath of Seeds, Their breath of Riches, Their breath of Spirit, Their breath of Power, Their breath of Good Fortune,
I ask for the breath of the Ancient Ones.
And into my warm body; drawing this breath, I add to Your Breath, that, happily, You may always live".
