“The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand” was inspired by the Biblical accounts found in the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, and John. The musical focuses on the miraculous conceptions of an elderly woman, barren all of her life, and a young unmarried virgin. The purpose of this was to fulfill the prophecies of God leading to salvation and restoration to Him through Jesus Christ. The plan for these children, conceived miraculously, was established before the creation of the world. However, we often forget that the parents and parental figures’ purpose was also established before the beginning of the world. This Christmas play invites you to recognize God’s purpose for you, in your own life. He has created you for a special calling, just like He did for those in the Bible, before the foundation of the world (1 Peter 1:18-21, Ephesians 1:4).

A HUGE part of worship is prayer. Last week, men of the church prayed over specific needs and requests of our missionaries. So far, we know at least one prayer has been answered in the way it was asked. It’s exciting to get on the field with the missionaries, by battling alongside them in prayer, even if they’re thousands of miles away. 🙏🏼
