Today, June 22, we honor Saints John Fisher and Thomas More — two men who stood for truth, conscience and faith even at great personal cost.

John Fisher and Thomas More’s integrity and courage continues to impact Catholic education today. They inspire our mission to ensure that every child can be welcomed and supported in Catholic schools.

We are grateful for our partner school, St. Thomas More Catholic School, where faith and learning go hand in hand and every student is valued as a gift from God.

On this Father’s Day, we ask for the special intercession of St. Joseph, patron Saint of fathers.

St. Joseph,
guardian of Jesus and chaste husband of Mary,
you passed your life in loving fulfillment of duty.

You supported the holy family of Nazareth
with the work of your hands.
Kindly protect those who trustingly come to you.

You know their aspirations, their hardships, their hopes.
They look to you because they know you will understand
and protect them.

You too knew trial, labor, and weariness.
But amid the worries of material life
your soul was full of deep peace
and sang out in true joy
through intimacy with God's Son entrusted to you
and with Mary, his tender Mother.

Assure those you protect that they do not labor alone.
Teach them to find Jesus near them and to watch over him faithfully as you have done.

Heavenly Father,
Bless all fathers as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience;
support them in the work they have to do,
protecting those who look to them,
as we look to you for love and salvation,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist next week with our parish bonfire on Thursday, June 25, from 7:30–9:00 PM in the Piazza following the 6:45 PM Mass. Sponsored by Youth Ministry and open to the entire parish, this evening will include a blessing of the fire, s’mores, drinks, and fellowship for all ages.

Join Dr. Nancy Romer for Including the Faithful with Disabilities, a course exploring the Church’s call to inclusion through theology, Scripture, and practical pastoral ministry.

Drawing on recent Church teachings, including Pope Francis' Dignitas Infinita, this course equips pastoral ministers, catechists, and clergy to better serve individuals with disabilities and their families.
