On the Occasion of the U.S. Bishops Consecrating the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus:

You know the longings of our hearts, and you desire that we enjoy friendship with you.

From your pierced side, you have poured out the wellspring of life, for which we thirst.

Your heart burns with a love for all people to return to a right relationship with you.

We celebrate the abundant gifts you have given this nation, founded on the self-evident truths that our Creator has endowed all people with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We make reparation for the offenses against you and against human dignity that have taken place in this nation.

May our hearts be united to yours, so that our families and communities enjoy peace and happiness; may broken relationships be reconciled, injustices repaired, and the wounds of our land be healed.

May your holy Catholic Church serve as a sign, pointing all people to your infinite love.

O Desire of Nations and Center of History, we ask you to bless these United States of America.

Who live and reign with God the Father

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!

Hello St. Joseph Families,
Happy June! June is traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus ❤️, reminding us of Christ’s boundless love, mercy, and compassion for all.

As summer begins, we pray that you and your families enjoy a season filled with rest, joy, and precious time together. ☀️🌻

Please see below for ministry updates and opportunities to serve foster youth and vulnerable children in our community this summer. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ through your prayers, generosity, and service. 💙

📅 June Monthly Meeting Cancelled

💜 TOMORROW: Let’s Spread Some Love! 💜
Don’t forget! Tomorrow is our Love Notes Project event, and we can’t wait to see you there. ✍️✨

A child's first night in a new group home can be overwhelming. We’re coming together to write encouraging notes for their Welcome Home Bags—reminding them that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Make it easy:
✅Write a bible verse
✅Keep it short and simple
✅Tell them they are seen and loved
✅Let them know you are praying for them
✅Share a way to keep God close and how to keep hope alive
✅Have your kiddos draw a happy picture

The Details:

📍 Where: Love Heals Youth Office (2500 Lonestar Parkway, Montgomery, TX)

🗓 When: Friday, May 15

⏰ Time: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Whether you’re a pro at calligraphy or just want to share a few kind words, everyone is welcome! Let’s fill these first nights with comfort and hope. 🕊️

💚Foster care and adoption can feel beautiful, overwhelming, joyful, exhausting — and sometimes lonely. But you were never meant to walk this road alone. ❤️

Whether you are fostering, adopting, supporting a foster family, considering taking the next step, or simply needing community with people who understand, we invite you to come share with us.

This group is a place to find encouragement, prayer, friendship, practical support, and people willing to walk alongside you through every season. No matter your faith background, denomination, or where you are in your journey — ALL are welcome here. We may come from different walks of life, but many of the same life experiences unite us.

💚Come connect with others who “get it.”
💚Come be heard.
💚Come support and be supported.
💚Come find your people.

You are not alone. 🤍

This May, during National Foster Care Awareness Month, we’re reminded that every child deserves to feel safe, loved, seen, and valued. 💙

Right now, thousands of children in foster care are waiting for someone to step in with compassion, stability, and hope. You may not be called to foster, but everyone can do something. Pray. Encourage foster families. Volunteer. Mentor. Donate. Advocate. Show up.

As followers of Christ, we are called to be His hands and feet — caring for the vulnerable, loving without condition, and bringing light into difficult places. Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can change the course of a child’s life forever.

Take time this month to learn more about foster care in your community and ask God how He might use you to make a difference. Together, we can remind every child that they are deeply loved and never forgotten. 💙

To the families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School! Thank You!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

A huge thank you to St. Anthony’s School for their incredible spring service drive! 🌸

Because of their generosity, they donated:
• 70+ beach towels
• 111 flip-flops
• $2,000+—which helped provide 122 brand new swimsuits

These aren’t just items—they’re opportunities for kids to feel confident, included, and ready to enjoy the summer moments many of us take for granted. We’re so grateful for a community that shows up in such meaningful ways. 💜

Stocking suitcases with dignity, care, and love. 💜

With the help of Catholic Daughters, along with several generous parishioners from St. Anthony’s, this year’s Stock the Suitcases drive made a meaningful impact.

From suitcases and cozy essentials to clothing, toiletries, books, and comforting extras, nearly 600 total items given with intention and care.

Every piece helps ensure that when a child has to move, they can carry their belongings—and a sense of worth—with them.

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up and care so deeply.
