ugust 15 - THE FEAST OF THE DORMITION OF THE VIRGIN MARY - Great Vespers on Saturday at 5 pm; Divine Liturgy on Sunday at 10 am.

BLESSING OF FLOWERS - It is customary to bless flowers and fragrant herbs at the end of the Divine Liturgy for Dormition. If you would like to bring flowers for a blessing, place them on the table near the cross, or near the icon of the feast in the middle of the church. The flowers can then be taken home as a remembrance of the feast, or placed near an icon of the Theotokos.
