Our kinder through fourth grade children's ministry is a great place to make friends, have fun, and enjoy exciting events. But most importantly, it's a place where kids can hear about the love of Christ on a level they can understand. Whether its Large Group or Small Group Bible Study, Wednesday night discipleship, or one of our many special events, kids are learning, on an age-appropriate level,
how to worship God, grow in Christ-like maturity and service, and share Jesus with the world. On Sunday mornings our elementary kids have 2 great hours of programming available-large group Bible Study, where kids will sing, dance, worship, and praise our great God, and small group Bible Study, where kids will build relationships with loving volunteers and deepen friendships with one another as they experience God’s Word. "Rock Solid" is our ministry to preteens in 5th and 6th grade. Based on Matthew 7:24, our prayer is that preteens will leave our ministry like the wise man who built his house upon the rock. When the storms of adolescence blow, we want to see preteens who will be "rock solid" in their faith and commitment to Christ. Too old for the children's department and not quite ready for the youth group, preteens at The Woodlands First have their own ministry dedicated to ministering to this special group of kids. There are two hours of programming available to them each Sunday: Large Group, where preteens lead a key role singing in our praise team and mentoring younger kids, and small group time designed with their unique age and learning styles in mind. There, they will focus on understanding what it means to love and follow Jesus, and build lasting relationships with one another. On your first visit, feel free to take advantage of the guest parking right in front of building D on our campus, and make your way inside to our Welcome Desk. Our friendly staff will help you check in, answer any questions you may have, and direct you to our Worship Center. Kids’ and Pr***en Programming is available during two worship times on Sunday morning: 9:30 (Classic) and 10:50 (Contemporary).
