Saturday, Sept. 30, is the U.S. National Day of Remembrance for Indian Boarding Schools. You can participate by wearing an orange shirt and posting photos of yourself and members of your congregation or community on social media. Throughout September, the ELCA's Truth and Healing Movement has provided opportunities to learn about how our church was involved in Indian boarding school policies and address some of the trauma such schools have caused. Find out more, including information about ordering orange shirts, at ELCA.org/TruthAndHealing.
