On June 7th we celebrated the instillation and ordination of our Pastor, Luke Shirley. Pastor Shirley is a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne and was ordained and installed after finishing his vicarage year with us. Welcome Pastor Shirley!

Our current vicar, Jesse Brubaker, and his family will be going to Christ The Vine in Damascus, Oregon at the end of the Summer to be their next Pastor.
Vicar Luke Shirley will be our next vicar beginning in August! We are excited that ministry in Northern Oregon continues to grow.

On Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. eastern time, you can join the Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne Call day service to find out where Vicar Brubaker and his family will be sent when he finishes his vicarage in August.
God good and we are so thankful that there are so many men going out to serve as pastors.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the church beautiful and to those who prepared good for our breakfast and eggs for the kids' Easter egg hunt!

You are welcome to join us for Bible study at 9:00 a.m. on the book of John and worship at 10:00 a.m.

Here is your friendly reminder that we have church today at 1:30. Pastor Lange will be here to preach and give us communion.

Hello all. We will not be holding church services tomorrow, again. We had hoped that the end of this week would bring better road conditions, but we are encouraging everyone to stay safe at home.
Vicar Brubaker will be calling individual members to share a thought from the readings and offer a time of prayer tomorrow morning.
God bless! Stay warm and we will look forward to joining together again next Sunday.

Hello and God bless you all.
Due to the severe weather, we are canceling Bible study and worship this Sunday/tomorrow. Vicar Brubaker will be calling church members throughout the coming week to share a summary of the message that was prepared.
For now however, stay safe and warm and enjoy the beauty of The Dalles blanketed in white.
