This feast commemorates the Blessed Mother’s visit to her cousin Elizabeth and the encounter of Jesus and St. John the Baptist while in the wombs of their mothers. The Color Corps had the pleasure to participate at St. Sophia Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. The mass was celebrated by his Most Reverend Bishop Benedict. Also in attendance was our Worthy District Master Kenneth Franch, Faithful Navigator Robert Daleo, Faithful Captain/CCC Dr. Dean Hansen, Ruben Diaz, Mario Martinez and other color corps members from our neighboring assemblies.

We received eucharist from Bishop Benedict and he anointed all in attendance. Remember to pray for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine and pray for peace.

It is with a heavy heart that I send this email out this morning. We learned that Lady Fran passed away this morning. We don't have any information on arrangements at this time. We will forward them to you when we receive them.

We expect to have a large representation of the BJPL Third Texas District assemblies and color corps. Fr. Loyd and Lady Fran were extremely active and great supporters of the Knights of Columbus. They are members of our assembly.

Please keep Lady Fran, Fr. Loyd Morris and their family in your prayers.

In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our sister Lady Fran.
In this life you embraced her with your tender love;
deliver her now from every evil and bid her eternal rest.
The old order has passed away: welcome her into paradise,
where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain,
but fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy
Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
