Today, the Morning Star Full Gospel Assembly family celebrates the birthday of our beloved First Lady, Elder Yvonne Thompson! 🎉💐

First Lady, we thank God for your grace, your strength, your heart for God’s people, and the love and support you faithfully give to our Bishop and the Morning Star family. We are especially grateful for your heart for our youth and the love, wisdom, and care you continue to pour into the next generation.

On this special day, we pray that the Lord continues to bless you, strengthen you, and grant you the desires of your heart. May this new year of life be filled with joy, favor, peace, and the continued fulfillment of God’s promises over your life.

Men’s Ministry Empowerment Session!

Today, we celebrate 11 years of faithful service, leadership, and love from our very own Assistant Pastor Sharon D. Hodge!

Years ago, on a Sunday morning, our late Bishop Charles H. Harris Sr. looked out into the congregation and saw Elder Sharon Hodge, who at the time was visiting Morning Star Full Gospel Assembly. Bishop Harris said that when he looked at her, he saw an angel. She wasn’t yet a member of Morning Star, but all these years later, we have had the privilege of witnessing what Bishop Harris saw.

For the past 11 years, Assistant Pastor Hodge has faithfully served this house as Assistant Pastor, standing alongside Bishop Rubin S. Thompson, caring for God’s people, and continually answering the call to serve.

Bishop Thompson is especially grateful for her leadership, her passion for souls, and her unwavering commitment to the work of ministry. Through the years, her faithfulness and heart for God’s people have been a tremendous blessing to Morning Star.

Assistant Pastor Hodge, today we honor you, we celebrate you, and we thank God for the gift you are to this ministry. Morning Star is blessed because of your YES!
