Sadly the internet has a vast quagmire of false teachings that we must always be discerning.
Some “teachers” are saying that we must never cry, wail, or express sadness as we pray.
That is clearly false.
The message preached yesterday is sufficient to disprove that.
James is a New Testament book that is clearly for all believers in Jesus today.
So while we must never become despondent and negative in our thoughts, we must do as instructed in Scripture when repentance is needed, and when renouncing behaviors and attitudes that are contrary to the Word.
Let us always be discerning in what we are being told, and take everything to the Scriptures to insure veracity to God’s revealed will for us as His people.

Algunos "maestros" afirman que nunca debemos llorar, lamentarnos ni expresar tristeza al orar.
Esto es claramente falso.
El mensaje que prediqué ayer es suficiente para refutarlo.
Santiago es un libro del Nuevo Testamento que es claramente para todos los creyentes en Jesús hoy.
Así que, si bien no debemos caer en desánimo ni en pensamientos negativos, debemos hacer lo que nos instruye la Escritura cuando se necesita arrepentimiento y cuando debemos renunciar a comportamientos y actitudes contrarias a la Palabra.
Siempre usemos discernimiento con lo que se nos dice, y comparemos todo con las Escrituras para asegurarnos de que se ajusta a la voluntad revelada de Dios para nosotros, Su pueblo.
