I am so grateful for the glorious time we had at our GEMS Women's Conference 2024 this past weekend. Our theme this year is “Walking in His Promises," and it was truly amazing to see how God showed up and blessed us all.
I want to take a moment to first thank Christ, we are still basking in his blessings.
What a mighty move of his presence. Thanks to
everyone who attended, as well as the different churches that participated. Your presence and support were greatly appreciated. I also want to extend a special thank you to the women of CTC church, including our leaders and members, as well as my husband and senior pastor Michael Basdeo. You have all been a tremendous blessing to me, and I am so grateful for your help in making this conference such a success.
I would also like to thank our guest minister, Prophetess Sophia Ruffin, for accepting our invitation to speak. Your message was powerful and inspiring, a powerhouse and you truly broke down barriers and thwarted the enemy's plan.
It has been my experience that women bring a unique perspective and energy to ministry. They are often more intuitive and relationally insightful, and they have a special heart for those who are marginalized and in need. I am so grateful for the women in our church, as they bring a strategic boldness and sensitivity to the work that we do. I am blessed our church has women, we would be “half a church” without you all.
Of course, we couldn't do it without the support of our husbands, brothers, and all the men in our ministry. You are our physical strength, our support system, and our spiritual prayer partners, we need you.
Thank you once again to everyone who made this conference such a success. Be encouraged as you walk in his promises.
