Devotion- Right Intention, Wrong Interpretation!
How many times have we done things from the heart with the right intention but due to “what it looked like” our intentions were misinterpreted? I’m sure most of us have experienced this and maybe you say to yourself WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS THINK especially when we are doing the right thing? Well apparently GOD DOES! Let’s be clear this morning that no matter how much good you do, there will always be someone to find something wrong with everything!!! Let’s remove them from the equation because we are not speaking about them.
Who we are speaking about are individuals who might not be mature enough to understand what’s actually taking place. This is especially when we do things without protecting our integrity. God is not a God of confusion and we must be sure that our empathy doesn’t distort our intention and our character! Let’s do good with our actions but let’s do better with our character!

Buena intención, interpretación equivocada!
¿Cuántas veces hemos hecho cosas de corazón y con la mejor intención, pero nuestras acciones fueron malinterpretadas debido a «cómo se veían»? Estoy segura de que la mayoría de nosotros ha pasado por esto; tal vez te digas a ti mismo: «¿A quién le importa lo que piensen los demás?», especialmente cuando estamos haciendo lo correcto. ¡Pues, al parecer, a Dios sí le importa! Tengamos claro esta mañana que, por mucho bien que hagamos, ¡siempre habrá alguien que encuentre algo malo en todo! Dejemos a esas personas fuera de la ecuación, porque no estamos hablando de ellas.
Nos referimos a aquellas personas que quizás no tienen la madurez suficiente para comprender lo que realmente está sucediendo. Esto ocurre especialmente cuando actuamos sin proteger nuestra integridad. Dios no es un Dios de confusión, ¡así que debemos asegurarnos de que nuestra empatía no distorsione nuestra intención ni nuestro carácter! Hagamos el bien con nuestras acciones, ¡pero hagamos algo aún mejor con nuestro carácter!
