Please join us in congratulating Malena Sullivan on her Senior Thesis Exhibition!

Malena Sullivan
“Eve: Live from Eden”

A series of large-scale posters inspired by 1960s psychedelic concert flyers, reimagining the biblical Eve on a redemption tour confronting her past.

By blending art history, classical studies, and visual art, Malena reclaims Eve as a symbol of autonomy and authentic selfhood while honoring the underrecognized women artists who shaped the visual language of the psychedelic era.

Through large-scale posters and immersive installation, “Eve: Live from Eden” transforms the gallery into a revival of twentieth-century music culture.

📍 On view until March 3 at Lipani Gallery

Join us for a lecture by Dr. Brittany Acors, winner of the 2025 New Scholar Essay Prize for Catholic Studies in the Americas, as she explores the intersections of disability, vocation, and Catholic culture in twentieth-century America.

Focusing on American Catholic women who survived polio, this talk examines how narratives of suffering, service, and divine calling shaped new understandings of disability, and how religious culture influenced pathways into helping professions.
