Seekers Christian Fellowships

Seekers Christian Fellowships Since 1970, Seekers Christian Fellowships has been active on the high school and college campuses of Metro New York.

Seekers Christian Fellowships is a unique and dynamic cross-denominational model of campus youth ministry comprised of over twenty clubs, in high schools and colleges throughout the metropolitan New York area. We’ve had fellowships in upstate, Long Island and New Jersey. Students gather in Seekers fellowships to share the love of Christ, to support each other, to find like-minded friends, and to p

ray for their schools and this city. Seekers, like a missions base in a foreign land, are an oasis for young believers in a hostile environment.

This Labor Day, we’re reminded that our work is more than what we accomplish—it can be an opportunity to honor God.

Whether you’re studying, building a career, serving in ministry, caring for others, or faithfully supporting the work God is doing, may we do what He has placed before us with hearts devoted to Him.

Our roles may look different, but our greater purpose remains the same: to glorify Christ wherever He has placed us.

Happy Labor Day!

Kingdom work often requires patience.

We pray before we see answers. We plant before we see growth. We serve without always knowing how God will use it.

But Scripture reminds us not to grow weary in doing good.

To every student faithfully living for Christ, every leader pouring into others, and every person praying for and supporting the next generation: keep going.

God sees your faithfulness. Trust Him with the harvest.

Kingdom impact doesn't always begin with something big.

Sometimes it begins with inviting a classmate to fellowship. Praying for a friend. Opening Scripture together. Or simply having the courage to talk about Jesus.

We may plant. Someone else may water. But God gives the growth.

Lives are changed when students encounter Christ, grow in community, and are equipped to influence others with the Gospel.

Whether you're taking your first steps of faith or faithfully investing in the next generation, every prayer, every conversation, and every act of generosity matters in God's Kingdom.

This is your weekly reminder as the week ends.

College can be demanding, and it's easy to believe your value is tied to your productivity.

Jesus offers something different. He invites the weary to come to Him—not after every assignment is finished, but right in the middle of the pressure.

Work faithfully. Study diligently. But remember that your worth isn't found in your performance. It's found in Christ.

🤍 Take a moment today to pause, pray, and receive the rest only Jesus can give.

College can shape more than your career—it can shape your faith.

As classes, deadlines, friendships, and new experiences compete for your attention, staying rooted in Christ becomes more important than ever.

A few ways to stay grounded:

📖 Stay in God's Word.
🙏 Make prayer part of your daily rhythm.
🤝 Find a Christ-centered community.
⛪ Stay connected to a local church.
🌱 Be willing to ask questions and keep growing.

Faith isn't about being perfect. It's about taking one faithful step after another with Jesus.

What's one habit that helps you stay rooted in Christ during a busy season?

It's only God who can satisfy your soul.
Jesus said His nourishment came from doing the Father's will. He reminds us that lasting fulfillment isn't found in achievements, approval, or recognition—it's found in living for God's purpose.

The world tells us to chase success.
Jesus invites us to pursue something greater: a life aligned with His will.

🤍 What are you pursuing today—and is it drawing you closer to God's purpose?

Love doesn't begin with us. It begins with God.

Before you could ever reach for Him, He reached for you. Before you knew His Name, He already knew yours. Before you chose God... He chose to love you. That's the heart of the Gospel.

God's love isn't based on your performance or your past. It's rooted in His unchanging character and fully revealed through Jesus Christ. Every act of love, grace, and forgiveness we give is simply a response to the love we've first received through Christ. His love is the reason we can love at all.

Peace doesn't always come through calm circumstances.
Sometimes it comes as we trust God in the middle of uncertainty.

The same God who parted the Red Sea still leads His people today. When the path ahead feels impossible, remember that the Good Shepherd is already there. He is Peace.

🤍 What feels like a "Red Sea" in your life today? Bring it to Him in prayer.
