Oftentimes our culture and society is engrossed, infatuated and even consumed with the idea of how much knowledge and information we posses. When we consider the greatest teacher ever, Jesus Christ, his concept of learning was not just focused on the consumption of information, but instead discipleship was at the top of his curriculum. The biblical concept of discipleship was therefore a whole-life relationship, not merely classroom instructions. The teachings of Jesus should lead us into practical use and application to determine if we have retained and understood what was taught. Let us daily deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Jesus! Thank you Lord!
