The students at TMA partnered with St. George’s Episcopal Church of Texas City in working on materials for Hope Signs. St. George's has been known for many years as “Spreading Hope” through the community with their handmade signs that have the message “Hope” either painted or branded on them. The signs are of all shapes and sizes and can be seen displayed throughout the community. The students worked to cut supplies that will be used in assembly. St. Thomas the Apostle Nassau Bay Senior Respite Group will be painting these signs during respite care times. This project was graciously taken on by Mr. Lambert to give students a chance to begin practicing their woodworking skills before starting their Gala Projects.
