Studying on the topic of kindness today, and feeling impressed by the Lord to implement kindness more.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for kindness is “hesed” . It can mean “חֶסֶד cheçed, kheh'-sed; from H2616; kindness; by implication (towards God) piety; rarely (by opposition) reproof, or (subjectively) beauty:—favour, good deed(-liness, -ness), kindly, (loving-) kindness, merciful (kindness), mercy, pity…”

While reading 📖 and listening to chapter 29 of the Didascalia in the Ethiopian Bible tonight (for free) read by Christopher Glyn on YouTube, I learned that Christmas is to be celebrated the same day as the first day of Hannukah! Another mystery - the real date for Christmas - solved ✅ by reading the ancient texts that were left out of the 66 book Biblical canon!

If we hunger and thirst for righteousness, we will be filled, and if we seek God first, we will find Him!

So many of us say, “Have a good day!” perhaps not realizing the Bible’s definition of it.

Only four times does the Bible say people had a “good day”, three times in Esther describing how the Jews lives were spared, and once after David had found relief from running for his life from King Saul, and ran across sheep shearers to ask for a good meal.

Proverbs 15:15 says, “Pro 15:15 - All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.”(KJV)

May we all have a good day today, knowing and celebrating how Christ saved us from spiritual death, has given us also rest from our enemies, and our daily bread!
