Crossroads is the Young Single Adult Ministry (ages 23+) at First Baptist Texarkana. Are you currently in a phase in your life where you are at a crossroads? We have a place for you! At Crossroads you have the opportunity to meet other believers, grow in your faith, and serve while having a community that understands where YOU are. We are serious about creating a space for community! We encourage

our class by getting together for game nights, themed parties, church events, and so much more! We are always looking for new activities to do as a group! We currently meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. We invite you to drop by, grab some coffee and a bite to eat, and join us as we learn Biblical truths that apply to our lives. The Young Single Women are excited to gather together for Week 3 of our study on The Armor of God! 🛡️✨

This week, we will be diving into The Breastplate of Righteousness; learning how guarding our hearts and living in God's righteousness strengthens us for the battles we face each day.

Scripture Focus:
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." ❤️
Proverbs 4:23

Week 2 of our 🛡️Armor of God🛡️ study focused on The Belt of Truth and what a powerful reminder it was!

We learned that Satan is the master illusionist, working hard to distort what is true. But his suggestions can NEVER stand up to the light of God's Holy word. God's truth is the light that exposes deception and guides our steps. ✨

An important verse we studied was John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." ⛓️‍💥This reminds us that God's truth brings freedom and helps us recognize deception.

Strapping on the Belt of Truth allows us to stand firm against the schemes of the devil and gives us a freedom we wouldn’t have otherwise. When we define truth as ✨God’s opinion on any matter✨, everything begins to change.

Just like a belt supports the core, wearing the Belt of Truth strengthens us at our foundation. We were also reminded of this powerful truth:

Satan may know me… but the Lord MADE me. 🙌

We are excited to continue growing together, learning how to stand firm, and walking boldly in God's truth. Join us next week as we continue studying the Armor of God! 💕

The Young Singles of TXK had a great time enjoying fellowship and lots of laughs at our Bowling Night! 🎳 It was such a fun evening filled with friendly competition, encouragement, and making memories together.

We are so thankful for this community and the opportunity to grow closer; not just as friends, but as brothers and sisters in Christ. Moments like these remind us how special it is to do life together!

We can’t wait for the next event… you won’t want to miss it! 💙

Join us as we dive into this powerful lesson and learn how to stand firm in our faith and grow deeper in our walk with our Lord and Savior.

The Young Single Adults had such a sweet time together this past week at our Valentine’s Day themed Bake Off! 💕🧁

It was definitely one for the books (and maybe a little more memorable than some others 😉). The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and so many incredible desserts. From chocolate delights to beautifully decorated treats, everyone brought their best and it showed!

But as with any competition… there can ONLY be one winner 🏆

Congratulations to Paige for taking home the title this year! Your dessert was amazing, and we are so proud of you!

More than the fun and friendly competition, we’re thankful for the fellowship the Lord continues to grow among our Young Single Adults. It’s such a blessing to gather, share life together, and be reminded that true sweetness comes from Christ and the love He pours into our hearts. ❤️

There is something so special about gathering together, opening God’s Word, and learning how to grow deeper in our prayer lives. Whether you feel confident in prayer or you’re still learning how to start, this is a safe and encouraging place to grow.
