Our church website www.sgmbaptist.com is no longer. I am no longer going to deal with Network Solutions who bought our original server and destroyed our entire site. They suggested I just rebuild it on their server and I "kinda" as polite as I could told Him "I don't think so". They refused to refund the time we have left I told them that is God's money and He will deal with that. Please send all emails to me or the church to [email protected] I will soon stop using the [email protected]. I do not care to be associated with www.networksolutions.com
God bless you all.

If Christians today truly understood the deep things in God's word, I do believe we would all be shaken in horror. Most Christians today will never admit it, but they do not desire to serve the Lord. They have grown a cold heart to the Lord, His Word and His churches. And they ignore God's word as though they do not hear it because it tell them all of this is truth. This is why when Jesus returns it will come as a thief in the night, Christians are not watching and waiting for Him. Listen to Jesus, Luke 6:46-48 "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock."

1Cor 13:11 - 13 “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

Do you ever wonder how this world got to the place of sin and hate that it is today?
2 Corinthians 4:4 "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

We must understand these words from God, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not..."

This is your answer, this world is not our home, it is Satan's world and controlled by him, we are only passing through Satan's world to our home. Praise God we are only passing through!!!

Hebrews 11:1, 3 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (3) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

Our Sunday morning sermon last Sunday was titled "Lessons from our trials of faith." our text came from John 6:1-6. This sermon is about How God uses things in our life like trials to teach us, as He does chastening, and rebuke. God doesn't do things to see how we will react but to show us our reaction that we may see error and correct it. God already knows our reaction. We must learn from how God teaches us.
