There are multiple beliefs about the origin of Halloween. This article sets forth my reasonable and useful understanding of the origin of Halloween and how it should be viewed today.

Halloween is the first of three feasts established by the Catholic Church that occur in sequence: Halloween (October 31), All Saints Day (November 1), All Souls Day (November 2).

Blessed be his glorious name of the Lord our Creator God for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. (Psalm 72:19)

A preacher wrote to me the other day: " God does not use the fear of hell to motivate men to repent, it is His own goodness that leads men to repentance"

Well I guess Jesus was just making useless small talk when he says:

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy

***both soul and body in hell***.

Preachers making ineffective small talk in "Sunday Worship Service" to folks with itching ears is definitely not the type of worship God seeks (2 Tim 4:1-5).

Let us all have godly confidence in our walk with God through Christ by attending to the WHOLE counsel of God.
