IMPORTANT CALENDARING NOTICE:

The Biblical Lifestyle Center will not host an 'in-person' gathering this Sabbath. The Holy One willing and technology cooperating, Bill will be going live on this platform around 8:45 am Central Time for a teaching on Parsha #11, Vayigash [Genesis 44:18 -47:27].

This will be followed by Bill teaching episode #11 in the explosive Messianic Kingdom build-out series 'Baruch Haba B'shem Adonai' (i.e. 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Holy One!').

Both of these FB videos will also be posted on youtube.

CALENDARING NOTICE FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF THE BIBLICAL LIFESTYLE CENTER

This coming Sabbath morning we will observe the Feast of Dedication as a Community. As usual, we will begin our gathering at 10 am with Torah study. At 11:30, at our usual break time, we will adjourn for a sweet time of food and fellowship.

The celebratory meal will be potluck style, so everyone please bring your favorite Biblically-kosher food creations - sweet, savory, or whatever - to share with the group! Afterward there will be a time of games and fun for all - so if you have a board or other kind of game you or your children would like to play, please bring it and invite others to join in the fun!

Just a reminder - since we will be having a full meal at 11:30, we will not be having the usual breakfast/brunch spread that is generally laid out a little before 10:00!

Save the Date! [11/1/2025]

On Saturday, 11/1/2025, after the BLC Shabbat Gathering, Chuck and Susi Bell have graciously invited all friends of BLC to come out to their ranch for a time of food and fellowship. Between the Bell family and BLC, we will provide the 'main dish' - all beef hot dogs and Chuck's famous lamb burgers. To top it off, everyone is invited and encouraged to bring your best sides, desserts, and drinks to share with everyone 'pot luck' style.

NOTE: Please bring your lawn chairs to sit in - and since it may be chilly, don’t forget your jacket or a blanket.

There will be lots of room for the kids to play so bring any outdoor games you enjoy.

We always have a wonderful time at the Bell's 'hayride' get together. ring your friends and family.

The festivities will start around 2:30 pm. The address is 7925 Old Post Road, Texarkana AR 71854. Google Maps knows the way but please feel free to call BLC if you need directions.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING YOM KIPPUR:

Beginning at 9:00 am Thursday, October 2, 2025, and continuing through sundown the same day, the main hall of gatherings at the Biblical LIfestyle Center will be open and accessible for all who wish to offer Yom Kippur prayers and meditations.

We invite whosoever will to draw close to the Holy One on this, the holiest day of the year. Come, pray, stay as long as you like, and leave quietly and reverently when you are through.

NOTE: Out of respect for others, please keep all conversations in hushed tones, or take them outside the main hall into the fellowship or parlor areas.

A suggested order for prayers and meditations will be available if you wish to avail yourselves of such an aid. The text of some of the traditional prayers will be included for those who value them.

May this scheduled appointment in the courts of the Creator prove life-changing for you all.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

In anticipation of Yom Teruah [often called Rosh HaShanah - which will begin Monday at sundown] we at the Center are planning a special day of celebration this Sabbath. As usual, the Sabbath gathering will begin around 10:00 am CDT, with teaching and lively discussion of the Torah portion of the week. This week that is Parsha #51, Nitzavim, found at Deuteronomy 29:10-30:20.

After the discussion concludes we will have a time of sounding shofars. Then we enjoy a special time of celebration, fellowship, and food themed around apples, honey, and tacos (not necessarily served together!). The taco meat, corn tortillas, chips and a few classic taco fillings will be provided; but please bring your favorite seasonal dishes and desserts to share with the group and fill out the complete feast experience. Weather permitting, there could be some fun activities for the children as well.

Everyone is welcome - so I look forward to seeing you here at the Center!

MPORTANT CALENDARING NOTICE FOR FRIENDS OF THE CENTER: NO IN-PERSON GATHERING THIS SABBATH MORNING ONLY!

There will be no in-person Shabbat morning gathering at the Center this Saturday morning [July 5, 2025] only. The Holy One willing and technology cooperating, we will be going live on this platform at about 9:00 am CDT to discuss the deeper matters of the parsha.

We will look forward to seeing all our friends in person at the Center again on Saturday July 12!

SPECIAL CALENDARING NOTICE!

Shavuot - the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost - is rapidly approaching! Chag Sameach Shavuot!

In honor of the Creator-King's special day of outpouring, we will change up our meeting schedule this week. As usual, Bill will do a video teaching on Facebook Live at around 9:00 am. But this week only there will be no in-person meeting at 10:00 am. Instead, we invite everyone to gather in the main at 3:00 in the afternoon to rejoice over the Holy Day. There will be a brief opening, then we will EAT! Bring a covered dish - all you great cooks (and novices) out there, OUTDO YOURSELVES!

Also, we would love to top off the meal with your favorite flavor of home-made ice cream! Note: of course, the store bought variety is just fine if you don't have an ice cream maker at your disposal!

BLC will provide toppings for the ice cream!

1. What is the 'Kingdom of Heaven'?

2. What do [a] the physical land of Israel, and [b] the people biologically descended from Avraham through Yitzchak and Ya'akov have to do with the Kingdom?

3. What relationship do the teachings and the lifestyle modeled by the Master have with the Torah?

Due to last night's flooding (with even more severe rain expected this morning) there will be no in-person Sabbath gathering at the Center this coming Shabbat morning [4/5/2025].

There WILL, however, be a livestream teaching [the Holy One willing and technology cooperating!]

ATTENTION FRIENDS OF BLC: All Who Will Be Attending Biblical Lifestyle Center's Sabbath Gathering on Saturday, March 15, 2025, TAKE HEED!

We will not only be studying Torah [parsha Ki Tisa, and the golden calf episode] this Sabbath, but will also have a special oneg celebration for Purim. The 1st section of our gathering [from 10:00 am to around 11:30 am] will be Torah discussion; after our break, however, instead of a second Torah discussion, we will be enjoying a potluck feast.

PLEASE, bring a dish for the potluck [my favorite is always dessert, but that's just me!].

PSST. Rumor has it that pastries looking like the ears of a certain heinous villain may actually appear on our tables in edible form this Sabbath - Imagine that!
