Glory Will Be Revealed
Romans 8:18-19 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Paul says that glory will be revealed in us. God is not merely taking us to glory; He is developing His glory within us. The waiting, stretching, and refining are all preparing us for His divine purpose.
Lazarus of Bethany died, and many believed all hope was gone. Yet Jesus declared that the situation would reveal the glory of God, and Lazarus walked out of the tomb alive.
What looks like the end may simply be the stage upon which God reveals His glory.
Prayer:
“Father, I choose faith over fear and hope over despair. I believe that the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory You will reveal in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Declaration
“I will not allow temporary suffering to make me abandon eternal promises. God is working in me, through me, and for me. My pain is temporary, but His glory is everlasting. The suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in me. Amen.”
