Prophetic Awakening

There is a difference between knowing the Word and recognizing what God is saying through His Word right now.
The Bible is the Logos — the written Word of God, the expression of God, speech, message, or reason of God.
But there are moments when the Spirit takes something you have read before and suddenly causes it to come alive for your present season. That Word becomes Rhema — a fresh utterance, a now-word, something God is emphasizing and speaking directly into a moment. (A verse that strongly speaks to you in a specific moment).
Jesus said: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word [rhema] that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4
This is one of the dimensions of prophetic awakening. You begin to recognize that God is not silent.
He speaks through Scripture. �He speaks through impressions. �He speaks through dreams. �He speaks through spiritual perception. �He speaks through burdens, promptings, visions, and revelation.
And as you mature prophetically, you begin learning how to recognize what is truly coming from Him.
Prophetic people are often hungry for depth. They are not satisfied with yesterday’s revelation when God is emphasizing something fresh today. They want to understand the mysteries of God. They want to discern His movements. They want to recognize what heaven is saying in the present moment. They want to read “What Does The Bible Say About..’, and not mans opinion. What does the Bible say about…second coming, tithing, faithfulness, overcoming, jewelry, Holy Ghost, baptism, modesty, worship, endtime, repentance, etc. Hunger precedes revelation.
But prophetic awakening is a process.
There are stages. There are moments when your spiritual senses begin opening. There are seasons where God develops discernment, teaches you His voice, stretches your faith, and brings greater clarity to how He communicates with you.

Do not ignore the hunger God has placed inside of you. There may be another level of spiritual awareness, discernment, and prophetic understanding beginning to awaken.
