Your getting closer
The spiritual warfare and demonic attacks and storms that have been raging in your life is proof that you are getting closer. Closer to breakthrough, closer to a miracle, closer to healing. Closer to financial increase, closer to restoration, closer to promotion, closer to the next level, closer to your path of destiny.
When Jesus called Peter to walk on the water. Peter stepped out of the boat in faith believing he could walk on water to Jesus and not drown. He proceeded to step out of the boat and begin to walk on the water.
But as he moved closer to Jesus (don’t miss this) the intensity of the storm increased. Suddenly, Peter became afraid (fear) and he stopped moving forward and took his eyes off Jesus. As a result he began to sink. He called out to Jesus for help and the Lord met him where he was and saved him. Faith got him to walk to Jesus but fear prevented him from moving closer to Jesus.
Keep moving forward no matter what. Do not take your eyes off Jesus. He will rebuke the storm and you will safely get to the other side. The storm will not break you nor will it take you out. Have faith and believe because your breakthrough, the blessing, the new thing is on the other side of that storm. Don’t allow the storm to make you doubt God. Trust God and he will bring you through Amen.
“Meanwhile, the disciples were in trouble far away from land, for a strong wind had risen, and they were fighting heavy waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!” But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!” Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?””
