Update: Hoss Ridgeway, the comedian that normally performs at Winterfest will be doing a live comedy show here at Eastside during our Winterfest Pre-Event Night on February 12th. Hoss is a preacher in Franklin, IN and also performs comedy at Gutty's in Indianapolis. Even if you don't attend Winterfest with us, bring your youth group to see Hoss from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Winterfest 2021 - Normally at this time of year we are leaving on a charter bus with 55 teens on the way to Gatlinburg, TN for a spiritual youth event for 12,000 teens called Winterfest. This year is a bit different. We will be here in Terre Haute participating virtually at the Eastside church of Christ at the corner of College and Fruitridge.
I am inviting the teens of the area, 6th grade through 12th grade to register by emailing me at [email protected]. The cost is $40 per person which includes all sessions, meals, snacks, a t shirt and a tubie. Precautions are being taken for COVID and space will be limited on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please email me by Sunday, February 7th so I can get the orders in. Oklahoma Christian University will be drawing and awarding two 4-year tuition scholarships from those that register for this event.
The pre-event will be Friday, Feb 12th, and Winterfest will be from Feb 19th-21st.
