Jesus had great loss in his human life. He lost loved ones. He was betrayed by those closest to him. He was falsely accused, publicly humiliated, endured Roman torture. He watched his mother suffer as he was dying. He felt abandoned by the Father.

Being human is hard. But imagine if you were God and then became human. In human form, he could only be in one place at a time, he needed help, he felt pain, he felt hunger, he was now limited. And how he must have wanted to use his God powers to show people who he really was ... but he didn't.
