Tennyson General Baptist Church Youth Group We are a non-profit group dedicated to the growth of teen individualism and self image. Tennyson G.B. Youth is a part of the Tennyson General Baptist church.

1 Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. We teach teens ages 11-18 about the love of God and his son Jesus Christ, and how each of them are a unique person made in the image of the Father. Valuing self image and confidence is a major part of our philosophy. Each teen is treated

with respect and love. We consider ourselves a family, we talk like a family, act like a family and most importantly pray like a family! Each Wednesday night, the youth leaders teach a group study based on biblical teachings that relate to problems, challenges, and everyday obstacles that go along with being a teenager, these meetings are at 6:00 pm. Sunday School is every Sunday at 9 am followed by Morning Worship at 10 am. Every Sunday night during the school year is Youth Fun Night: Games, prizes, movies, fun and DINNER!!! 6 pm on Sundays. There are also several fundraisers and fun events like concerts, 30 hour famine, drive in nights, pool parties and much more. We would love for everyone to join us!

Easter Events this week:
Maundy Thursday Communion Service on Thursday at 7 PM.
Community Easter Egg hunt at 1 PM on Saturday with Hamburgers & Hot Dogs lunch being served in the church fellowship hall at Noon.
Easter Worship Services on Sunday:
Sunrise Service at 6 AM with a fellowship breakfast following at approximately 7 AM.
Sunday School at 8 AM
Easter Morning Worship at 9 AM.
No Evening Service.

Tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 22) is the annual Community hayride and hot dog roast at 5 PM. Come join us for some fun. The church is providing hot dogs and buns, with church members bringing chips, drinks and desserts. After eating, they'll head out on the hay wagon for a great night of fun. All riders will need to have a signed liability waiver, which will be available at the church, so come on out and join the fun tomorrow night. See you there. - Pastor Carl

Even though the congregation was smaller than normal, I truly felt the love and appreciation expressed to me this morning as the church observed Pastor Appreciation Day. I was truly blessed by the cards, gifts and monetary gifts. Thank you Tennyson General Baptist Church for your support and love. I couldn't ask for a better church to pastor. - Pastor Carl
