Over the years, many volunteers have donated hours of service for the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery building and grounds. Since the late 1800's, the cemetery's only source of income has been the sale of burial plots. Anyone wishing to make a donation or rememb

Want to learn more about the history in Tenino’s cemetery? Want to help put on this awesome event??

We are looking for a few volunteers to help setup for the Historic Tour happening on October 11th!

Here are the details:

Saturday October 11, 2025, Forest Grove Cemetery

18011 Northcraft rd SE, Tenino, WA 98589

-9am setup - volunteers for setup needed 🙏

-3pm tour prep - volunteers for actual tour needed 🙏

-4-8pm - Historic Tour, all welcome 😎

Tickets:

Individual - $15

Family - $35

Cash accepted at the gate or purchase online at attached link.

Wow what a turn out for the annual Forest Grove Spring Clean Up!

At rough count there were 50+ community members that brought chainsaws, pruners, pole saws and more elbow grease then can fit in the cemetery!

There were areas of the property that had not been cleaned in years.

The Forest Grove Cemetery board members were on site to privide refreshments and coordination 🍩 ☕️

Shout out to all the businesses that supported the effort including but not limited to:

Evergreen Pressure Washing Service LLC bringing out your magic spray wand 🚿

Riverbend Ranch for providing a dump trailer and the entire Jensen family to move mountains of debris 💪

Ron's Stump Removal & Tree Service, LLC as we saw some folks wearing their gear 🌲
