Circle J Christian Camp and Retreat Center

Circle J is a Methodist camp and retreat center available for rent to groups from May through September. Check it out! Come visit us!

Circle J Christian Camp and Retreat Center is located at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in north central Wyoming on Federal Highway 16, 6+ miles east of Ten Sleep. The Ten Sleep Creek runs through our property in the Ten Sleep Canyon. The camp consists of two bunkhouses; a Lodge which houses the kitchen, dining area and office; a shower house, one guest cabin, and a chapel. The Chapel is an hi

storic building; it was the first church in Washakie County, built in 1904-05, moved from Ten Sleep to the camp in 1975. We invite all denominations and educational groups to inquire about the use of our facility for camps, retreats, seminars. We enterain weddings quite regularly - outdoors and in the Chapel. We are a "little bit of heaven" here in the Big Horns.

I’ve had several people ask me if they could purchase our 2025 Circle J tee shirt. We have a few left for purchase and I will be placing an order for more soon. Let me know. All proceeds go towards our 2026 Nomad project of residing our beautiful and historic chapel.

We were so blessed again this year by our Nomads! The hardest part of them being here is their departure. Heaven will be such an amazing family reunion!! Thank you, each one for all the ways you have blessed us!! Your work ethic, integrity, and heart to serve is beyond inspirational! Our 2025 Apple Fest is only 12 days away!! The very first chapel in Washakie County was built in 1905 in the beautiful little town of Ten Sleep, Wyoming. FIFTY years ago it was moved to the Circle J Ranch! Come celebrate with us and get your t-shirt! All proceeds from Apple Fest will help us put new siding on our beautiful historical chapel!

What a beautiful and fun day on the Circle J!! If you are asking yourself, “Does prayer really matter?” Let me tell you, “It does!” Our Father answered EVERY prayer we prayed about this event including, but not limited to the weather, the vendors, the guests, the volunteers, the pies and crisps, the musicians, and so many more. With each event we’ve were learning about the next one. I can’t believe I’m even thinking about “the next one”! But how can we make it better is already in my thoughts. More water coolers for one. We had plenty of water for our guests but I should have had it spread out through out the camp. To those of you who read this page who were either vendors, prayers, musicians, bakers, or helpers I pray the Lord showers you with an over abundance of blessings for being willing to be used to bless the people from our community and beyond!!

It’s finally here!! Our time to celebrate with the community of Ten Sleep and our surrounding neighbors in Wyoming!! We give thanks to our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ for these grounds in this community; we give Him thanks for the incredible community support; we give Him praise for the salvations and even baptisms on these grounds; we give Him praise for the answered prayers, protection and safety; we give Him praise for all divine appointments with people and the opportunities to visit about His marvelous plan; we even give Him praise for a mountain lion who spent a month on these grounds; and we give Him praise for an abundant harvest!!!

Come celebrate with us on September 28, 2024!! We’ll have 30 + vendors, 4 food trucks, local musicians, apple pies to purchase, homemade Circle J apple crisp and ice cream, face painting, and activities for children.

We want to thank ALL of you who made it possible for us to purchase and install a new playground for the children.

Please prayerfully consider supporting Circle J in our next big project of raising money for siding our 119 year old chapel.
We could also use ”ministers” to help us during Apple Fest, we need many hands and many feet and last but certainly not least, apples and pears for sale.
