The Widnoon Community Church is having a picnic to celebrate our new name.
We are so excited.
We will have a bounce house and temporary tattoos and other games for the kids. We will have lots of food and adult games. We hoping to have a blue grass singer and some gospel music to add to the fun.
Time: 12pm to 2pm or later
Place: Widnoon Community Church.

Come on out and join us.
Please bring a lawn chair and a appetite.

To theTempleton, Widnoon and Kellersburg Churches from Pastor Craig.
Good afternoon friends. Ash Wednesday snuck up on me again, and I've discovered that my family has several responsibilities on Wednesday. So I will be offering two forms of worship tomorrow.
First I will be posting an Ash Wednesday Service on Facebook and YouTube available at 9 am.
I will also have self-guided prayer stations available at Widnoon and Templeton UMC's all day. I'm hoping to have the Templeton Station open at 6 am for those wishing to participate before work it will be available till 8 pm.
The Widnoon church will be open 9 am to 5 pm

The Widnoon Methodist Church had a much needed face lift this week. The church was founded in1896. We contracted Dan Shaffer Painting from Kittanning area to come and paint the sanctuary 25 foot ceiling and walls.
The crew of three, Tricia, Josh and Tiffany worked 9-10 hour days and completed the job in 4 days instead of 8 days. They worked really hard to get it done.
Here are pictures before and after. Dan's crew did an appsalutly wonderful job. We at the church would like to say thank you for all of your hard work. We are very pleased. Great job.
