The men of St. Francis Episcopal Church and guests gathered for a pot luck dinner on Thursday June 10 in the Parish Hall. The guest speaker was Mark Lanford, a missionary who along with his wife and four children spent 30 years spreading the Christian faith in the Muslim country of Azerbaijan. Mark shared many experiences, stories and challenges he and his family faced and reported on the unprecedented movement of Christianity across all of the Muslim world today. Interested in attending? We were pleased to have Anna K Morris, Certified Life Coach, lead us in a discussion of “God is an artist - and so are you” from the book “The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron.

Please join us for our 4th meeting of “Women, Worship and Wine” (or W3) and add a bit of “Cinco de Mayo” to the mix on Tuesday, May 5th @ 5:30p.m. in the home of Linda Frick. The topic for this month’s meeting will be “God is an artist-and so are You”.

We are pleased to have Anna K. Morris, Certified Life Coach, lead the evening in an experience and discussion around “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron. This book guides readers on a journey closer to God through their childlike wonder and creativity. Please come ready to share about your own creativity, and if you like, bring something you’ve made or are working on that is bringing you joy or perhaps a journal and/or a photo of yourself doing something you loved as a young child. Anna will share how to incorporate this work easily into your everyday life, so you feel more like a little kid than ever before!

Feel free to bring your favorite wine and appetizer.

From the solemnity of Holy Week to the light and the joy of Easter morning, we give thanks for all who gathered to pray, worship, and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
