Vessels of Worship Ministries In Him we live, and move, and have our being! Vessels of Worship dance ministry (VOW), formerly named Praise in Motion was founded in 1991 by Lisa Dent.

Lisa graduated from Brenau University with a degree in Dance pedagogy and was accepted into the Alvin Ailey School of dance in New York. Here she began to hear The Lord calling her to dance for Him alone and to instruct others to do the same. Vow ministries was birthed to worship The Lord in Spirit and in truth and to offer our bodies a living sacrifice. To be a vessel that the Holy Spirit can pou

r through to the lost, the broken, and the hurting. VOW Dance Ministry is located in Temple Georgia. Over the past 23 years we have ministered in both the surrounding communities and other countries. Wherever the Holy Spirit Leads us for "In Him we live and move and have our being"

God’s Word has so much to say about Fire and Light and how symbolic they are in our Life in Christ and Christ in us! 2 Cor. 4 reminds us once again that He is the Light and Treasure inside of our Earthen Vessels! Because of this we know that the power is from Him not us! So encouraging that the Light of the World ( John 8:12) has also called us the Light of the World!( Matthew 5:14-16). In Philippians 2:14-16 We are like stars shinning in the universe holding out the Word of life in our hands! He is the Light and in Him there is no darkness! Darkness has to bow to light! We often think of a light bulb that can be switched on and off. But this light is more like a flame or a torch even, representing God’s Presence that purifies, and guides us into Truth Luke 12:49 Jesus said that He came to set the world on Fire! That is a bit scary and can sound contradictory to a Gracious God who so loved the World that He gave Jesus to take our place at the cross! But that fire burns up the things that are robbing us of true life in Him! It is the transformative work of the Holy Sprit! God’s interaction with Humanity and desire for His children to walk in Truth and righteousness. We are encouraged to fan that flame(gift of God) in us 2 Tim.1:5-7. We need to be encouraging each! Darkness bows to Light! Love has overcome the night! 💜

A beautiful Women’s Night of Worship at Bethany Christian Church! What a privilege it was for 'VOW on Mission' to not only share through dance, 🩰 but also be a part and partake in such a precious and refreshing evening!!!!! 💜 It was truly a beautiful night, what a blessing to worship alongside sisters in Christ and bask in the presence of Jesus together! 😊
