We celebrate open communion for ALL on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month and on festivals, and our worship service begins at 9:30 AM every Sunday.

When Pastor Brady saw this page doing restoration work around Bell County, particularly with Churches, he knew that our old Historical Marker (which was put up on our hundredth anniversary in 1989) could use a little love. Many thanks to the good folks of the Bell County Historical Commission for sprucing this up and helping us remind folks near and far that the Gospel is still being proclaimed here at First Lutheran.

Pastor Brady rejoiced at the opportunity to go and celebrate the ordination of his Seminary Peer the newly Reverend Angela Fleeger in College Station! Pastor Fleeger is called to serve a congregation in the Houston area and College Station is in the Gulf Coast Synod, but Texas shows up for Texas. Honored to celebrate such a wonderful day in the life of the Church.

The Church rejoices at the opportunity to celebrate the ordination of Pastor Jessica Nipp at our fellow ELCA congregation in town, Covenant Lutheran Church Temple Texas. A good time was had by all and we will continue to pray for her, her family, our friends at Covenant, and the congregation in Upstate New York that is waiting for her to begin her ministry there.
