Thank you to everyone who made today's brunch a fantastic success. We ate well, had wonderful fellowship and got to know several first time guests to Sunrise. Looking forward to celebrating the Resurrection next Sunday!

It is with great joy we announce Leroy Meyer has been taken home in glory to his Savior Jesus Christ today. He has run his race and now joins his children Paul and Jessica in glory.
Roy served Sunrise Community Church for many years in his generous giving and teaching Sunday School to multiple generations. He served our country in the US Army and will be missed by his wife Helga and daughter in law Rowena.
Details on a memorial will be posted shortly.

Pain in life is inevitable, if you do not feel it today, cheer up...there is always tomorrow. But do not fear pain, for God is bigger than your pain and Jesus is enough.

I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Sometimes an unexpected pain or illness may frighten you. Accept God's gift of peace, and let it create a calm spirit within you.
