Namaste Devotees,

Saturday Pooja Detail:

5:00 am - Sri Venkateshwara Abhisheka
6:00 am - Special Raashi Pooja starts at SVK Temple ( Prayers to Lord in individual Zodiac Sign). This will be performed for 24 hours (6:00 am - Saturday to 6:00 am - Sunday).
8:00 am - Yajurveda Samhitha Yaaga starts.

We will be performing for first time in USA the Raashi Pooja for benefitting all devotees with health, wealth and happiness.

As you all are aware there are 12 months in a year and Lord Surya transitions through each Zodiac sign starting with Mesha Raashi and ending in Meena Raashi during this period.

At SVK Temple we will be performing this entire transition of one year in a single day. Within a day Lord Surya or Sun travels through zodiac signs staying in zodiac sign for two hours approximately. Tomorrow being Saturday we start with Tula Raashi at approximately 6 am and transitioning to the next one after two hours and ending in Kanya Rashi around 4 am Sunday morning. During this time Lord Lakshmi Narayana is worshipped with Bhajans, Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana, playing percussion instruments as also Taala. At the end of two hours Lord is offered Naivedya and Mangalarati. We also remember the 12 Keshavadi names of Lord.

Please review your star signs and be present to offer your prayers to Lord. This Raashi Puje is known to offer health, wealth, happiness, phala equivalent to performing Ashwamedha and well being of everyone
