Greetings Church!
2014 “A Year of Change, A Year of Transition!”
Randy Demain declared at our BreakThrough Conference this January, “...It's Time to Move!“ As a ministry family, individually and corporately we are going through transition, just like you are... or shall I boldy say, you will experience transition this year!
Transition is not pleasant... change is uncomfortable. We are people who like things to stay the same and the phrase “we are creatures of habit” really does apply. Insanity has been defined appropriately, “doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results...” Oh Lord Jesus! Help us to accept, even desire, change! In the process of delivering a baby, transition is the time where the baby transitions painfully through the birth canal. Women who have given birth agree, this is one of the most painful times during delivery.
When the Jewish Believers in the first century were driven out of Jerusalem, taken from their homes and their country, this uncomfortable transition was used by God to literally save their lives. Because of persecution, the entire known world was evangelized through those who were scattered throughout the world for their very survival. Did you also know there was no slaughter of Believers when Rome destroyed Jerusalem, because God through hard change and difficult transition, had moved them out of the Holy city saving the Church from complete destruction!
We have sensed God is about to move us from our current hotel venue where we have held our Barak Ministry monthly meetings for the past four years. But, we do not yet know when the new door will open! We are excited and expectant, not knowing the time table and even what the new door looks like, but we do sense this could happen soon, even possibly this year! God is orchestrating some awesome changes in our ministry outreach and we also have some new plans and projects we desire to share with you very soon. After much prayer and counsel, God has confirmed for us to remain at our present location currently at the Clarion Hotel for our upcoming meetings this year! Unfortunately, we were unable to finalize our venue plans in time to schedule our February meeting. We are delighted to remain for the time being at the Clarion Hotel as it truly is home to all of us who labor and attend these meetings!
January was extremely busy for the Barak Family, bringing two major conferences to the Phoenix area, a labor of Joy and Love, but the Lord knows... we have needed some rest! God has confirmed, working all things perfectly together and has so Blessed the staff at Barak during the month of February with a much needed rest, giving us time to regroup and prepare for the new year. Our hearts are with you Ð we are really looking forward to gathering with you once again in March!
We love you, bless you and look forward to seeing you on March 16th at the Clarion Hotel! God has great things planned for His people in 2014 and I, personally, want to come ready to hear clearly what the Spirit of God is saying to the Church, RIGHT NOW!!!
