King of Glory Lutheran Church

King of Glory Lutheran Church We invite you to journey with us as we worship, grow in faith, and serve in Jesus’ name.

The first worship service was held on King of Glory’s 4 acre campus on February 14, 1970. More than 50 years later, we remain dedicated to the founding mission of our church. We strive to affirm our faith in God, learn and grow in faith, and inspire to find new outlets for our personal journeys of faith. We are dedicated to creative worship, adult education, family ministries, active fellowship li

fe, community outreach, and missions. King of Glory is an Independent Lutheran Community who welcomes all diversity.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we at King of Glory Lutheran Church pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the enduring values of courage, selflessness, and love for neighbor.

As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, may we also take time for gratitude, reflection, and prayer. We give thanks for those who served faithfully and never returned home, and we pray for all military families who continue to carry both pride and loss in their hearts.

Scripture reminds us in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” On this day, we remember those who embodied that sacrificial love.

May God bring comfort to grieving families, peace to our nation, and hope to all who seek healing and unity. Let us live as people of gratitude, compassion, and service, carrying forward the values for which so many gave everything.

From all of us at King of Glory Lutheran Church, we wish you a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. May we never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice. ✝️

As our sermon series “When God Shows Up” comes to a powerful close, we gather on Transfiguration Sunday to reflect on what it means to be transformed—and to testify to the light we have seen. In this final message, Senior Pastor Charles Newman returns to the pulpit with the sermon “We Are Witnesses,” inviting us to consider how encountering God’s presence changes us and calls us to share that presence with the world.

On the mountain of Transfiguration, the disciples witnessed Jesus revealed in glory. But the story didn’t end on the mountaintop—it continued in everyday life, where faith is lived, shared, and embodied. This message explores how God’s glory shows up in our worship, our community, and our calling, and how we are sent as witnesses to God’s love in action.

This Sunday is also a special celebration as King of Glory Lutheran Church marks its 56th Church Anniversary. We give thanks for decades of ministry, faithfulness, and community, and we look ahead with hope as God continues to show up among us.

Join us in worship as we celebrate, reflect, and recommit ourselves to being witnesses of Christ’s light—today and always.
