🙏📿 Pope Leo XIV has made a moving pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, calling Catholics around the world to rediscover the power of the Rosary and the mercy of God.

During the visit, the Holy Father reflected on the extraordinary conversion of St. Bartolo Longo — the former occultist who became one of the Church’s greatest apostles of the Rosary and founder of the famous Marian shrine in Pompeii. Pope Leo praised his legacy as proof that no soul is beyond God’s grace.

“The Hail Mary repeated in the Rosary is an act of love,” the Pope said, urging families and young people to return to this powerful prayer in a world wounded by war, confusion, and spiritual emptiness. 🕊️

The pilgrimage also marked the anniversary of Pope Leo XIV’s election, as he entrusted his pontificate to Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii. ✝️

Today, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Louise de Marillac.

St. Louise helped shape St. Vincent de Paul's legacy of service rooted in compassion, dignity and action. Through her work with the Daughters of Charity, she supported those who were poor, sick and marginalized, helping build systems of care that continue to serve communities today.
