We are still overflowing with joy after gathering as a church family this past weekend! ❤️ Our Pastors & Spouses Retreat was filled with teaching, laughter, and connection.

Our guest speaker, Stan Reeder, walked us through the Psalms, reminding us of the Father’s personal care for each of us and His faithfulness in the ministries He has entrusted to us.

From encouraging conversations over meals to soaking up the beautiful sunshine together, it was a weekend that reminded us of how good it is to do ministry alongside one another 🌊

Some of our SoCal pastors found themselves in Arizona this past weekend at Thrive: Pastors Conference! This free conference, hosted by Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene—the 97th fastest-growing church in America—was all about encouraging and equipping pastors to grow healthy churches.

Our pastors are coming back encouraged, refreshed, and ready to put all they learned into practice here in Southern California. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to learn from one another, be reminded that we’re not doing ministry alone, and keep growing together!

Next month, you and your church are invited to join us in serving Banning Church of the Nazarene! 🧽🪣 We believe that we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, so we are planning a day to come together to paint, clean, and show our love to one of our own local churches.

Come serve alongside us and meet others from across the district. This is a free event, and lunch will be provided. Visit socalnaz.org/events to learn more!

What a great weekend we have had up at the Southern California District Men’s Retreat 2026 up in Big Bear at Cedar Lake Camp!
The devil tried to come in, but we slammed that door right back in his face, God showed up and moved the mountains this weekend.

Stay tuned for more pictures and a camp recap video coming soon!

This past weekend was our very first Hispanic Men’s Camp, and it was incredible! 🙌We’re so encouraged to see this ministry growing here on the SoCal District.

Throughout the weekend, men were challenged to seek Christ above all else and step into the calling God has placed on their lives—to become the men He has designed them to be. From times of worship and teaching to honest conversations and fellowship, brothers came together to grow in their faith and encourage one another.
