What a wonderful month at VBS! 🍀

Over the past five Sundays, our children journeyed through Emerald Crossing, exploring the beautiful truths of Psalm 23 and learning about the Good Shepherd who lovingly guides, protects, and provides for His people. Through Bible lessons, games, songs, activities, and plenty of fun, kids learned that God's Word can be trusted and that He is faithful in every season of life.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who gave their time, energy, and love to make VBS possible. We are so thankful for every child who attended and for the opportunity to plant seeds of truth in their hearts.

Sunday’s almost here and we can’t wait to be together in God’s house again! See you tomorrow.

There’s just something special about church family gathered around picnic tables, kids running around, good food, laughter, and a day set aside to remember those who gave their lives for our country. 🇺🇸

We’re thankful for another great Memorial Day Picnic at CBC. So many people helped make the day happen — from preparing food, setting up, cleaning up, organizing games, and simply showing up ready to fellowship together.
Most of all, we’re grateful for the freedoms God has allowed us to enjoy in this country and for the men and women who sacrificed so much to protect them.

Comedy Night was one for the books!! Between the Filipino dinner, the steak and basket auctions, and a night full of laughter, it was such a fun evening together!

We’re so thankful for everyone who cooked, served, donated baskets and auction items, helped behind the scenes, and gave so generously. Most of all, thank you for investing in our young people and helping send teens to camp this summer. What a blessing to see our church family come together for something that matters.

Bro. Alex Del Cid is back serving as our other summer intern this year. He is originally from Nebraska and is a recent graduate of Heartland Baptist Bible College, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry. Bro. Alex has previously interned with us twice. Following the summer, he will join our staff in a part-time role primarily serving in the youth group.

Meet our new summer intern, Bro. Marcus Valerio!

Bro. Marcus Valerio is serving as one of our summer interns this year. He is from Española, New Mexico, and is currently a Pastoral major at Heartland Baptist Bible College, where he is entering his junior year. Bro. Marcus has a desire to grow in ministry and to faithfully serve the Lord, and we are thankful to have him with us this summer!

We’re excited for this next chapter as he joins us this summer for a one-year internship. We’re thankful for his heart to serve the Lord and are looking forward to having him on staff this year.
