This week, Pastor Dane taught on John 13:1-17 and what it means to follow Jesus' example of serving others.

"What we see in the washing of the disciples is what a glorious Savior that we have. A Savior who serves. A Savior who cleanses. A Savior who loves to the end. And now, as those who have received his grace, Jesus still says to us, "Go and do likewise."

This past Sunday, Pastor Dane taught through John 13, where we see Jesus washing His disciples’ feet in one of the most intimate and countercultural moments in Scripture. What makes this act so profound is not just what Jesus did, but who He is. The King of Kings, on the eve of His crucifixion, knowing betrayal was imminent, chose to kneel before His followers and serve them in the most humble way imaginable.

Pastor Dane outlines four movements in this passage: the act itself, the purpose behind it, the varied responses from the disciples, and the call to imitate Christ’s example.
