Your family has a glory.

Haggai 2:9 says, �“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the glory of the former.”

Although this verse is referring to the former glory of Solomon’s temple and the rebuilding of the LORD’s temple, the Hebrew word “house” means “especially family.”

In scripture, “house” also refers to:
🔥 a home, house as containing a family, household, family, those belonging to the same household, or family of descendants.

🔥 The word glory is KABOD and it means “honor, splendor, and glory.”

🔥 In Haggai 2:9 shalom is “peace with God, especially in covenant relation”

We are Abraham’s seed. God’s original intent was all the families of the earth shall be blessed not cursed through the judgment of the house’s (family’s) iniquities (Genesis 12:3).

Pray the glory of the latter house, of your family, will be greater than the glory of the former! 🙌🏾

AT THE GATE OF TODAY:
I heard my altar calling out to God.

Did you know that you can touch the heart of God with your offering, what you sacrifice on your altar to the LORD?

In the first mention of altars in the Bible, Noah built an altar to the LORD and the offering, the sacrifice, was a sweet aroma to the LORD that touched His heart (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭8‬:‭20‬-‭21‬). He made a covenant swearing:

““While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”” Genesis‬ ‭8‬:‭22‬ ‭‬‬

Life is spiritual. Altars are real.

What are altars?

• Altar are places of sacrifice and places of
contact where connect with God or some other god or deity.
• The places where one makes a sacrifice or an offering becomes an altar.
• Where there is idolatry, there is an altar
• An idol is a god

Life is spiritual. Deep calls to deep. Worship God and call out to Him. Offer Him your life, your heart, mind, everything on the altar of God.
