The first annual Al Salmon Memorial Arts and Crafts Exhibit was a huge success! On display was a diverse collection of art ranging from cookies, to paintings, photography, floral arrangements, crochet, woodwork and more. Artists of all ages participated, starting with preschool. Thank you to all who helped make this happen and to all our artists for sharing your work with us!

Join us on Sunday June 14th after both services:

This year's Arts & Crafts Exhibit is held with gratitude for the life and legacy of Al Salmon, whose enthusiasm, creativity, and love for this community helped make this event a cherished Saint Thomas tradition.
As we gather to share our talents and enjoy one another's creations, we remember Al and give thanks for the joy and inspiration he brought to so many. The hands that create are a gift from God. This year, we celebrate those gifts in memory of our friend Al Salmon.

Thank you Saint Thomas for showing up in orange today!

“By wearing orange, we stand with survivors of gun violence, remember lives lost, and recommit ourselves to the sacred work of building communities where every person is treated as a beloved child of God. May our prayers move us ever deeper into the work of healing, compassion, and peace.”

-In Christ,
The Rt. Rev. Dr. Susan Brown Snook (Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego)

Please join the Daughters of the King to "Discover the Prayers of the People." Explore and create community prayers.

Date: Sunday, June 7th

Time: 9:15 a.m. (between services)

Place: Julian Hall

What are the Prayers of the People — and how do they help shape our worship together?

Join the Daughters of the King on Sunday, June 7th, between services as we explore the history, purpose, and creation of the Prayers of the People within the Episcopal liturgy. Together, we’ll discover where these prayers come from, how they are selected and written, and why they are such an important expression of the hopes, needs, and concerns of the community.

Led by facilitator Mary Lou Thomas, this interactive session will also include the opportunity to help create original Prayers of the People that will be used in an upcoming worship service.

Whether you are new to liturgical prayer or simply curious to learn more, all are warmly welcome.

Childcare is always available.

Every Thursday Night -- 8:00 p.m. Thursday Night Compline.

Compline is a short service. Expect to be online for approximately 15 minutes.

Compline is a brief, peaceful service of nighttime prayer in the Episcopal tradition, offered at the close of the day. Through scripture, quiet reflection, and ancient prayers, it invites us to release the day behind us and rest in God’s presence.

We have a new Zoom link, message us if you need details.

REMEMBER: WEAR ORANGE ON SUNDAY 🧡🧡🧡

“As people of faith, we are called not only to grieve the violence in our world, but also to bear witness to another way—the way of peace, dignity, and courageous love. I invite congregations and individuals across the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego to participate in Wear Orange Sunday on June 7 as a visible act of prayer, remembrance, and hope. By wearing orange, we stand with survivors of gun violence, remember lives lost, and recommit ourselves to the sacred work of building communities where every person is treated as a beloved child of God. May our prayers move us ever deeper into the work of healing, compassion, and peace.”

-In Christ,
The Rt. Rev. Dr. Susan Brown Snook (Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego)
