🐾 POEM OF A DOG
I'm the one who's always waiting for you.
Your car has a special sound that I have imprinted on my senses, I can recognize it in a thousand.
Your steps have a magic bell.
Your voice is music to my ears.
If I see your joy, it makes me happy!.
Your scent is the best.
Your presence moves my senses.
Your waking up wakes me up
I contemplate you sleeping and for me you are my God, I am happy watching your sleep.
Your look is a ray of light.
Your hands upon me, hold the lightness of peace and the sublime display of infinite love.
When you leave, I feel a huge void in my heart.
I keep waiting for you again and again.
I am the one who will wait for you all your life today, tomorrow and forever:
I am your dog.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no teen hope or 2nd floor children’s classes tomorrow night, March 15th! Sorry guys!! Also remember next week is spring break and there will be no classes next week as well. We will see you all in 2 weeks!

Tonight we are learning how to trust God and follow the sound of his voice and He will guide you through the “mine field” of life.

Had a blast with the kiddos carving pumpkins on Wednesday during class. We learned that Jesus is comparable to a pumpkin seed. We use the seed Jesus put inside of us to help plant and grow more seeds (disciples). Jesus really is everywhere we look and in everything we see, we just have to choose to see Him!

Tonight we did an activity to figure out what was really important in our lives. My question I want all the kiddos to focus on is this…if you have to feed your body on average 21 times a week (3 times a day) then how many times a week are you feeding your soul spiritually by getting into the word of God and getting to know Him on a personal level!! Good food for thought!! Please encourage your kids to study the word of God. We study for tests, we study for knowledge, we study people we know to get to know their likes and dislikes, and all of those things won’t really matter when it comes time to live life in eternity, so how much are we studying to get to know Jesus on a personal level since He is the only way to heaven?
